En esta charla exploraremos la rica tradición de la pintura geométrica en el arte argentino, desde sus raíces en el modernismo pictórico hasta las expresiones contemporáneas más experimentales y plurales. Desde la década de 1940, la pintura geométrica ha mantenido una presencia constante en la escena artística argentina, siendo un lenguaje visual que ha evolucionado y establecido diálogos singulares con los distintos tiempos. Además, la geometría emprendió caminos inéditos, abriendo nuevas posibilidades expresivas y explorando nuevos caminos en la creación artística. En esta charla, ofreceremos una visión enriquecedora de la evolución histórica y actual de la pintura geométrica argentina, estableciendo un diálogo entre la tradición y la experimentación. Examinaremos a los artistas y movimientos clave, así como las nuevas técnicas y tecnologías utilizadas por los artistas contemporáneos, resaltando la vitalidad y relevancia de esta forma de expresión artística en Argentina.
